Executive Board Elected August 2012
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists is governed by 6 Executive Board Members, 4 At Large Representatives, and 8 Regional Directors.
Each member serves a 2 year term, and elections are staggered. The Executive Board and At Large Representatives are elected in even years, and the Regional Directors are elected in odd years.
Elections for the 2012 – 2014 term added some new faces to NAHJ’s leadership. It also includes a few members who have moved into new roles, and bring a wealth of knowledge from their service in prior elected positions on the board.
As the National Association of Hispanic Journalists transitions through an evolving media environment, the leadership board is overseeing some dynamic changes within the organization.
